A nice safety feature, until you get mud off the toe of your boot into the microswitch on the clutch pedal getting out and it freezes solid when you get back and try to start it, thirty miles from anywhere, long before cell phones.
Luckily, if you kick the pedal hard enough in frustration, it eventually breaks loose.

I forgot the issue, but we ended up bypassing that little safety “feature” on my Hilux. 🙂
